Sheet Metal

We offer a full range of sheet metal services for prototype and small-medium volume production work.

Forming & Shearing
We operate a 3m Morgan Guillotine and a 2.5m 60 Ton Promecam Brake Press which gives us the capacity to handle the following material thicknesses upto 2.5m wide:

• Aluminium - 4mm
• Mild Steel - 4mm
• Stainless Steel - 3mm

Punching & Notching
Punching, notching and slotting can be achieved on various machines on materials upto 10mm thick and is ideally suited to materials such as angle bar.

Inserts
A range of inserts can be added as required including rivet bushes, cage nuts, angle nuts and captive thin sheet fasteners.

Plate & Thin Gauge Sheet Metal
Sheet metal thicknesses handled include thin gauge upto 4mm and heavy plate upto 10mm.

Ancillary Services
Our toolroom is fitted with a range of other tools including fly presses, drills and linishers. Where required we also outsource services such as sheet rolling, spinning and engraving. Sheet metal work often involves elements from other parts of the shop floor including welding, grinding, cleaning and powder coating, all of which is offered in-house. Other services such as plating and galvanising can also be accommodated.
