Prototyping

We specialise in prototyping and product development for items as small as a sheetmetal bracket to fully working special purpose machinery and bespoke fabrications.

Prototype Fabrication
We offer full prototype services from concept through to design and fabrication for any form of metalwork including architectural facades, machinery, vehicle chassis, tools, enclosures and much more. We have the skilled workforce and the patience to handle intricate and complex fabrications and the experience to advise on best practice regarding material choice, production and costs. Our inhouse design staff are equipped with AutoCAD 2005 & Solid Works 5 and can work with most file formats including DWG files.

Product Development
For long term production we are happy to undertake product development on behalf of a customer whether that involves addressing user issues or implementing general design modifications to reduce weight, increase strength or lower costs etc. Because many of the jobs we carry out are bespoke in nature, product development is an easy step for us to take following on from the experience of the initial fabrication. We also take existing components and in relation to a customer brief can address historic design issues and carry out general improvements.

Machining
We offer machining services in support of our general engineering services including refurbishments, restoration, fabrication, prototyping and product development. Machining is carried out for mainly one off bespoke requirements although we do undertake small volume batch work.
